Sea Isle Beach Cams - Viewing cams on a Windows PC. The code for the cams has been checked and it is correct. It is a "Windows" issue. If you are using a Windows PC and cannot get the cams working, go to msn.com and scroll down on the home page of msn.com to "Technology". Click on "Windows Update" and download all available downloads. Or you can go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com. I had to do this on my Windows 98 PC and once I did the cams worked. I do not know what the operating system needed updated. Also I have the cams working on my Windows PC through the Netscape 7.1 & Firefox (mozilla.org) browsers. You may need "Windows Update" even if you are using Windows XP. I upgraded to Windows XP and the cams work. Or download Mozilla Firefox at mozilla.org/products/firefox, it is free and works with the beach cam web site. I also am using a Mac G4 (Apple Computer) and the cams work fine on my Mac in Safari, Netscape, Internet Explorer and Firefox and I did not have to download anything. If you cannot get to these web sites, try entering them in directly into your web browser address line or search for them at Google.com. You may need to download: "Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (JRE)" j2re-1_4_2_xx-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe Go to Google.com and search for this. You also may need to download "Active X" which can be found on Google.com Another download that you may need and can be found on Google.com is "Flash Player 7.0" flashplayer7installer.exe Also you may need to turn OFF your Microsoft Windows Firewall.
