Recycling & Solid Waste Information Mandatory Recycling: Paper WHAT: Newspaper, Magazine, Junk Mail, Cardboard, Office Paper, Paperback Books, Telephone Books Glass, Aluminum, Tin WHAT: Glass bottles and jars, Aluminum cans, Tin cans, Soda, beer, fruit, vegetable, pet food, empty aerosol cans (exception of paint). Plastic Bottles WHAT: food and beverage, soap, detergent, heakthy and beauty containers that are imprinted with a 1 or 2 on bottom. Please place all items at curbside prior to 6:00am of your pick-up day. All trash must be placed in a ridgid reusable container with a detached lid not to exceed 50 lbs. or a 35 gallon sized can. Grass Clippings, Brush: tree branches, tree stumps, Christmas Trees Consumer Electronics: printers, stereos, television sets, computers, shredders Additional Items: Wood Pallets, Crates, hard plastics (dog crates, plastic deck furniture, etc.), anti-freeze, motor oil and used oil filters, kerosene, propane tanks, contaminated soil. Must be brought to the CMCMUA Landfill: Antifreexe, motor oil, used oil filters, kerosene, contaminated soil and propane tanks ($7.00 per tank). Winter (Begins September 27th, 2010) 1st to 44th Streets - Wednesday 45th to 70th Streets - Monday 71st to 94th Streets - Tuesday Summer (June 14th, 2010 (by 6:00AM) to September 25, 2010) 1st to 44th Streets - Wednesday and Saturday 45th to 70th Streets - Monday and Thursday 71st to 94th Streets - Tuesday and Friday SUBJECT TO FINE BY CODE CHAPTER 18 - All trash must be placed in ridgid reusable container with detached lid, not to exceed 50 lbs. / 35 gallon cans. - Disposal of carpeting, padding and construction material is the responsibility of the owner or contractor. - Bulk and regular trash put out earlier than normal pick-up day(s) is also subject to fine. - NO PLASTIC BAGS CURB SIDE - All materials must be in ridgid containers, with lids, placed at curb side. - BRUSH must be bundled and less than four feet long. Trash Dump - Recycling Drop-Off Area (NO BULK TRASH) (NO LP TANKS) Trash dump is at the Publics Works building to the right (north side) of the bridge as you go out of Sea Isle City towards the Garden State Parkway. It is before you go over the bridge.
